NOTE :
Unfortunately our website is not mobile friendly. It is amateur construction by the host with tools from the early 2000s (Joomla 1.5, chronoforms 3.1, and by writing a little of javascript and php code) that had no corresponding template or the author was unaware of. However, I think it serves the purpose for which it was built and furthermore guests and hosts are not burdened with the commissions of the well known short term rental websites.
However, the construction of a professional website that will be mobile friendly has been initiated.
Vrachati is a beach town in the municipal unit of Vocha, Corinthia in the Center of Ancient Greece. It is located 12km west of Corinth, and is a very popular destination for day trippers from Athens. Vrachati is located on the Gulf of Corinth. The local economy is based on tourism and on the production of citrus fruits. Vrachati is a Kilometer - long pebbled beach with turquoise waters at only 12 km. from Corinth. Sea bottom is mostly sand, with occasional pebbles. The waters are deep, crystal clean and turquoise, whereas the beach is “divided†in two by a small port; next to the port, there is a secondary sandy beach. Vrachati visitors are quite unlikely to get bored; apart from enjoying a fantastic swim, the beach is ideal for kite surf and also hosts beach tennis tournaments. So, beach fun is guaranteed! Mild weather, ideal for pensioners' holidays all-year-round. Several of the most important Greek archaeological sites of interest are a 20-minute to 2,5-hour drive. Proximity to the suburban railway allows for one-day trips to Athens, where one can visit the Acropolis rock, the Acropolis museum, and other culturally important landmarks. Corinthia borders on Achaea to the west and southwest, the Gulf of Corinth and Attica to the north, the Saronic Gulf to the east, Argolis to the south and Arcadia to the southwest. The Corinth Canal, carrying ship traffic between the Ionian and the Aegean seas, is about 4 km east of Corinth, cutting through the Isthmus of Corinth. Corinthia is increasingly seen as part of the wider metropolitan area of Athens, with municipalities, such as Agioi Theodoroi in the easternmost part of the regional unit, being considered suburbs of Athens. The coastlands of Corinthia are made up of pastures and farmlands where olives, grapes, tomatoes and vegetables are cultivated. The rest of Corinthia is mountainous. Its tallest mountain is Kyllini in its west and the largest lake is Lake Stymphalos situated in the southwest. The reservoir will become one of the largest lakes after its completion. The climate of Corinthia consists of hot summers and mild winters in the coastal areas and somewhat colder winters with occasional snowfalls in the mountainous areas.
